Joan Collins floors Masked Singer fans with bewildered reaction to unveiling

Joan Collins left fans in stitches after they spotted her reaction towards Destiny Child's Michelle Williams being unveiled on ITV's The Masked Singer.

Several viewers were convinced that Joan, 88, was unaware of who Michelle was when she revealed that she was the star behind the Rockhopper costume.

While the other judges went ballistic at the revelation, guest judge Joan looked rather confused.

Taking to Twitter, fans shared their thoughts on the Dynasty actress and her reaction.

One person wrote: "Joan Collins has absolutely no idea who Michelle Williams is."

Another said: "Joan Collins’ bewildered reaction to Michelle Williams is instant meme material #TheMaskedSingerUK."

A third penned: "Joan Collins does not know who Michelle is and never heard of Destiny's Child before tonight."

While a fourth added: "Joan Collins hasn’t got a clue who Michelle Williams is."

The mother-of-three appeared on the popular ITV show to offer her take on who she believed was behind the mask and fans at home were happy to see her join in.

Taking to Twitter, one spectator penned: "The fact Dame Joan is a guest judge on The Masked Singer this week," followed by a fire emoji.

Meanwhile, another said: "Dame Joan @Joancollinsdbe on #TheMaskedSinger tonight was everything. What a woman !! Love her."

On Saturday night's show, Michelle, 41, and singer Aled Jones, 51, were the latest celebrities to leave the competition after Michael Owen and Jaime Winstone were unveiled last week.

Revealing herself to the audience for the first time, Michelle said: "I was under my mask cracking up! I was going please don't guess me'.

Speaking about why she decided to appear on the show, the star added: "I love music and to be able to cover some of my favourite songs without judgment was awesome.

"I wanted to challenge myself and also how much FUN I knew it would be."

Meanwhile Aled, who removed his traffic cone mask said: "I've loved it and when will I ever dress like a cone again."

When asked why he decided to take part in the show he explained: "Because it's so uplifting and when will I ever sing Rick Astley and the Pina Colada song again."
