Susanna Reid is reportedly set to quit Good Morning Britain this year after a “rollercoaster week”, according to bookies.

The 52-year-old has been a regular feature of the ITV breakfast show for nine years, first picking up the gig way back in 2014.

Ever since, she has featured alongside a frequently changing roster of male hosts.

A hit with viewers, Susanna has won praise throughout her stint on GMB for grilling guests like Boris Johnson and Matt Hancock.

But now, it appears that the bookies are backing Susanna to walk away from her GMB role.

“It’s been a rollercoaster week for Susanna and according to our traders she’s odds on (1/2) to leave Good Morning Britain after a series of bumps," bookmaker Paddy Power told The Sun.

They added: "There’s a 6/4 chance she’ll continue on her white knuckle ride at the helm of a show that has seen her have more highs and lows than a day at Alton Towers.”

It comes after Susanna is reported to have been left fuming at GMB bosses.

Earlier this week it was reported the journalist was livid following a number of mistakes that "made the show look stupid” and confronted senior executives over the errors.

On Monday (February 6), the voiceover introduced the show with a different date to the one which was written on the screen.

It said: "Friday, 3rd of February 2023 live from Television Centre in London, this is Good Morning Britain with Ben Shephard and Susanna Reid."

A show source then claimed to The Sun that the error left the pair "stunned" following the string of errors the week before.

The insider said: "Susanna and Ben were stunned, especially after last week’s mishaps.

“To get the date of the show wrong is pretty poor by anybody’s standards — it was the worst possible start to the week."

Nonetheless, Susanna is said to have let the mistake “go” with a couple of “eye rolls.”

An insider added: "Susanna is totally professional and just wants high standards — as Piers or any other presenter would have done.

"The last thing anyone wants is her walking away in anger."
